I bought one of the seedling from exotica couple months ago, they where in pretty poor soil(to many uncomposted woodchips) and the cold so it was barley growing
put it a 2gallon pot of good soil and a unheated green house and it growing nicely.
heres a pic of it just planted it to a 45 gallon container

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Can passion fruit grow in container

I had one in one of those half 55 gallon drums  so like 20 gallons and I got 25 to 35 fruit from it.

11
I got 4 bushes and they have never really set fruit from the first spring flush but later in the year they set a lot of fruit. I guess its the cold but I do get fruit in the winter from fall flowering  so I don't know ???

have 1 loquat tree grown from seed by the time it fruited i had to use a ladder to get the fruit lol (about 6-7 years) they are alot more vigorous than the grafted ones

18
im up in santa barbara rigth now for holidays do all the farmers market have them, looks like they have a different one everyday

19
Thanks , I’ll check the  Walter Anderson by old town is closer to my house
I think they have a a lot smaller fruit section though
I might hit u up later if I don’t find anything around here

20

yah I cant eat grapefruit straight either
I cut like in the video but I add sugar or agave nectar instead

22
lol do you eat it like a orange

23
loquat
they grow pretty fast especially the seedling ones  some of the grafted varieties are really good, one of my favorite fruit
i dont think people would eat them either

24
is it the spiny yellow
mine get like that in the winter does not like wet feet when cold  a lot more sensitive that regular dragon fruit

i just push the dead gooey part  of with my finger on a dry sunny day  let it seal up

mine are just starting to grow again where as the regular dragon fruit grew though the winter

seems to need alot better drainage that the others
