Luisport I would post pictures on Tuesday, so you can tell me if this is myrtle.I think all myrtle is very cold resistent... i never got any problem... but i don't know how much cold hardy he is.
I have a common myrtle from Spain but this one is moderately resistant to the cold.
While the other plant whose seeds I had collected in a park seems much more resistant to the cold.
But I still have a doubt as to whether it is a myrtle plant because I had never seen a resistant myrtle in the area.

Araza is good but pretty sour.Not mine. I have 4 different species and all are very good, sweet and big. Even araça una is very good!
Chalchal is here!I have one Chalchal small tree growing outside, so it's cold hardy too.
SAPINDACEAE
Its fruit is very sweet and the leaves and thin twigs are also used to counteract liver detoxification, also as a refresher and for tereré. It is cultivated in some places as an ornamental.
It is a dioecious tree that reaches a height of between 4 and 7 meters, although sometimes it reaches 15 meters. It is native to Argentina, Brazil, Guyana, Bolivia, Uruguay, and Paraguay. It grows at Buenos Aires too, in the riverside forests up to Punta Lara.
Reddish-brown trunk, scaly bark.
Compound, trifoliate, alternate leaves, glabrous, toothed leaflets, with short pedicels and sometimes even sessile.
The flowers are small, whitish, about 2 mm in diameter in clusters; the male flowers with the filaments of the hairy stamens; female flowers have trifid stigma. It blooms in August and September.
The fruit is a globose croup between 7 and 11 mm in diameter, yellow in color, turning red when ripe. Ripening is in clusters and uneven, notorious because the different fruits are seen with different colors. It bears fruit from September to November.

Hello Luís!Hi! Jamaracu is really great, i don't have it. I have two species that i lost the lable. I hace cereus peruvianus, orange and red prickly pear and pitaya.
Nice list and nice world of cactaceae. I have only one cactus, supposedly Cereus jamacaru. Which cactuses are you cultivating here in Portugal.
