Micro peanuts? can you eat them? ???

You hire babies and midgets to shell them for you. Plus I have micro-frogs aka tadpoles but not large enough to eat yet

Zands,

The Flower is Periwinkle, or Vinca... It's an ever blooming flower in summer.

Nice yard pics..:)

Looking good.

Did you buy the perennial peanut locally?
I haven't noticed it in nurseries, so not sure where to look.

Nice yard...love the mangoes of course!! Thought maybe the chair under Carrie was where you sit and stand guard to keep the 2 and 4 legged thieves at bay,lol... ;)

Yup, I agree with Greenthumb, those flowers are Periwinkle (Vinca)...I love them, they are No care and bloom most of the year...in the winter they freeze but come right back in the Spring.

I have them in white, red and purple...

JF---  agave is unstoppable here due to high amounts of rain. Thanks to all who have commented. The perennial peanut cuttings come from a neighbor's yard.

-- agave is crowding out two Philippine mango trees, it is getting ridiculous I should pull them out
-- one of my best trees this year >> carrie mango again fruits from 2nd bloom>>>
--sweet tart mango from Zill via Jeff (cookie monster) no fruit yet but looking very good>>>>
--planted 2010 gold nugget aka golden nugget >>>> this plus carrie plus an NDM that Jeff grafted are my best mangoes this year >>>
-- Keitt bought from Murray Corman 2008 is stays small for whatever reason. It is loaded this year because it produced nothing last year  ---  NDM and Glenn mangoes behind it
---more perennial peanut I potted for transplanting but now I am also trying cuttings direct into the ground too
--- muscadine grapes look very full from this angle but really they are not but are trying to get there
desert rose
-- strawberry guava fruiting the first time
-- random banana dwarf cavendish from home depot

Be aware that people with peanut allergies have had reactions to perennial peanut lawns. It is a popular lawn alternative in the tropics. Evidently the chemical that causes the problem is in the entire plant, not just the nuts, so people walking on or touching the leaves can react to it.

Very nice pic's of some of your plants thanks for sharing! Beautiful mango trees, better lose or move those agave or you could wait for mango's to fall and get speared haha ::)Is the tropical peanut a nitrogen fixer? ;) 8)

Zand,
either you have a super green thumb or the weather is on your side.

Credit goes to the rain we get here. Your location gets    20.4 inch yearly and we get double or more. Landscaping crewing are busy year round cutting back hedges, bushes, lawns and more. I have all of those that need some serious trimming except my lawn which is ship shape.

Beautiful yard Zands, I bet those trees are pretty large now. Your yard is very green and lush, mine has weeds growing everywhere. Time to motivate and clean up my yard:)

Thanks! Yes my fruit trees are larger.
Really its all a matter of South Florida's high rainfall instead of having to irrigate. It is much tougher and takes more smarts and dedication in your location which gets maybe 6 inches precipitation yearly.

We do get dry spells.
Every few winters we get a 6 month spell of really minimal rain. This is when irrigation is needed or your lawn will get large spots of weeds and dried up no grass areas. Our ultra sandy soil will get dry lots sooner of course. I just had a new well pump for lawn sprinklers irrigation put in for next time this happens

More South Florida
! No longer available
