Anymore recommendations?

I would say to ask one of the following if they have or will have: Vitor, Guidelazeri, Raulglezruiz, huertasurbanas, dreamfrutas, Adam of FlyingFoxFruits. A list just off the top of my head of who might have what you are looking for, also, these guys are awesome!

**If you do go through tradewinds.com for the Blackberry Jam fruit, there are two, I recommend getting both "Randia thurberi - Papache", and the other one, the other one they have is a bit harder to germinate so at least you will definitely get one species. Soak Randia sp. in a Gibb Acid ppm solution (can't remember what PPM concentration I used at the moment, its written down somewhere. lol) for 24hrs after cleaning and should pop right up. I had no problems. You might need to scarify the other then soak.

Cheers!

Anyone know where I can get a biriba tree in central Florida? I live near the coast so it’s probably warm enough.

Regards,

Will

I think Adam at FlyingFoxFruits.com also has some if you can't find them.

Cheers!

Raul may still have seeds if the nursery doesn't work out.

Have Bellucia grossularioides. Also have Pourmoma cecropefolia in season, usually late summer. Check my seed page: http://fruitlovers.com/seedlist.html

Hi Oscar,

I sent you a payment for the Pourmoma cecropifolia seeds and, I know it would be really early now, I was wondering if you had any yet or if you knew around about when you would get them so I can plan ahead a bit.

Cheers!
Usually in late summer: August-September.

Cool. I sent the payment already. I know you use to just wait to send things after people paid if they weren't in stock and I assumed things were the same still, but just wanted conformation. Thanks for the response!

Cheers!

The cannabis industry likes the $, so I don't think they care that much about some little poison. OF course for trees and other plants it's okay. Until they start to fruit it should vanish from the plant system. I would not use the hormone to clone vegetables for instance.

Very good point about use by the cannabis industry. I wonder if there are any that are less toxic that can be used in organic fruit tree production?

Is your Pitomba a Talisia or a Eugenia? The common name goes for species in two different genera.
It is Eugenia luschnathiana

I figured it was... Just wanted to make sure.

The Internet says they can't be grafted. I think you need good tropical conditions for it to grow. The opening flush is amazing. I just hope I can keep in thru the dry season here in Uganda.

I know in Fairchild Botanical Garden they are working to try and graft them onto some root stock with an inter scion of M. casturi (I believe). Look up the article... google ("Fairchild BG and wild mango species" or try by specific name...easy to find)

Cheers!

I will be in touch. Still waiting to hear back from Jim West in Ecuador.

Jim West has the Pourouma and a relative of the Bellucia.  For a while, he was not taking new customers but I think I had heard he is again.

I can trade female Che scions and also some Fig cuttings, or pay.

Look up member "Bush2Beach". I bought some from him in great shape.
