Not practical but what if the tree was temporarily stored in a walk in refrigeration for the chill hours?

Brad's got the right varieties down for socal!

Off topic I know, but I was wondering if there was any known varieties that'd fruit in 10a florida low chill Temps. I know the apples and peaches buy no cherries.

Minnie Royal and Royal Lee for the cross pollination fruit well here in 10B, they are low chill, only need a couple hundred hours of chill time.

I know some who have tried but fruiting was unsuccessful.   With our warming winter temps, the amount of chill hours are diminishing.

No worries, friendly reminder though, I’m in SoCal so I have no idea if they’ll fruit in Florida and it looks like bsbullie knows people who haven’t had much luck so maybe do some more research first. Peace
Nate
