Wanted: Plinia Coronata var. Restinga seeds
« on: May 22, 2016, 02:23:21 AM »
Known as jabuticaba-coroada-da-restinga.

On E-Jardim website says grows 2-3m but photo is of much bigger tree.

http://e-jardim.com/produto_completo.asp?IDProduto=302
Eugenia luschnathiana = CURUIRI.    Talisia esculenta = PITOMBA
I do not recommend people deal with Fruit Lovers, Prisca Mariya or Fernando Malpartida

jabomano has sold the seeds in the past.  good seller. nice seeds. all germinated.  though he doesn't give warranty against the slugs once they germinate on this side.  lesson to be learned:  protect your seedlings from slugs when it rains!  :(  ;)

She grows more than 2 meters, for sure.
My grafted tree is 1.80m tall, and still growing. As a side note: I don´t know if it is cause the root or not, but the tree claims for much more water than the preco (hybrid) jabo, as example. ;)
