Tropical Fruit Discussion / Re: Seedless guava in Taiwan

Anyone know where I can buy some Taiwan green skin, red or pink flesh guava seeds or guava trees?  Something like these images:

Has anyone tasted the Jalisco red and Dolores guavas?  If it is that delicious and sweet and better than any other guava variety, why don't who ever has them or developed/came up with these varieties get a nursery to mass produce them, doesn't the person want to share his/her great find with the tropical fruit community or the world or leave a legacy behind after the person is gone?  How many people have tasted these varieties and can confirm these varieties were the best guavas they've ever tasted, besides the person who came up with them.

Saw two or three of the Mexican cream guava trees at the Lowes Home Improvement store in Covina, CA about 2 weeks ago.  All the guava trees from Lowes and Home Depot come from La Verne Nursery in Piru, CA.  I've always had good luck with the guava trees from either store, but if it is a seedling it might take a year to three for it to fruit.  Just fertilize with miracle gro and water it well.  I used to have two of them, I didn't like the fruits and dug them up.

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Tropical Oasis Farms in Ranco Cucamonga, CA
« on: February 27, 2020, 11:51:13 PM »
Anyone dealt with Tropicaloasisfarms dot com?  They list a PO Box as an address.  Supposedly they have a location in Rancho Cucamonga, CA where you can go and pick up the plants.  I was interested in the White Brazilian Guava tree, Pink Brazilian Tropical Guava, and Red Hawaiian Tropical Guava.  I searched the internet and nothing about this website/company and the three types of guavas being offered for sale.  Could it be that the company just renamed the LaVerne Nursery's White Tropic Guava, Pink Tropic Guava, and Red Beaumont Guava?

Unfortunately, most if not all citrus sellers don't ship to California.

Based on internet searches, Green Mart Nursery moved from Orange, CA to Norco, CA (Inland Empire, off the I-15).  Looks like they kept their telephone number 714-637-2060.  Just bought a Ylang Ylang tree (5 gallon, app. 5 feet tall, for $49) from the 99 Ranch market off on Jeffrey & Walnut in Irvine, CA, and all the plants at the market were from Green Mart with the 714 telephone number printed on the tags.
