Pomona Lemon

I have only recently discovered this variety and I知 able to buy one. Ive been wanting a New Zealand for a while, so I知 wondering, since this is a sweet lemon, does this one compare? A good substitute for a sweet lemon?

I have 3 New Zealand lemonade trees.  The fruit is much less sour than a Meyer with more sweetnes and eats well out of hhand.  The peal is tight but chips off the fruit nicely.

Pomona lemon is an acidless citrus. Tastes like sugar water. New Zealand lemonade tastes like
lemonade.

It is the almost complete non acid context of the Pomona Lemon that gives it the insipid taste..I have a New Zealand Lemonade tree, and enjoy picking a fruit as I pass by.  It actually does taste like lemonade, plus the tree is a heavy producer of fruit.

Thanks guys! Maybe I made the wrong choice. I値l have to trade it in for a New Zealand I suppose! I壇 rather have a lemonade tasting fruit.. not really looking for sugar water lol
