It's also called cucumber tree, tree sorrel, belimbing, blimblin, grosella china, mimbro,tiriguro, vinagrillo, pepina de indias, carambolier bilimbi, kamias and a dozen other names.

I have an Asian pear tree that I bought about 5 years ago at Lowes. Bloomed 2x but did not do much after that. Looking for other asian pear varieties that have great taste and preferably somehow blight resistance. Any recommendations appreciated and also info where to get the scion wood. I am zone 6b. Tried to root passion fruits. No luck. So I was gifted this one by my daughter. Came from a local nursery and was sold as a patio plant. Only info on the label is passion fruit. No variety listed. Fruit purplish. Inside yellow/orange pulp. Already gave me one ripe fruit. Taste sweet//sour. Better than the yellow skinned ones I am familiar with. Grows in a 5 gallon pot. Has about 9 more fruits at different stages of development. Will soon have to come inside.

I am a huge Bilimbi fan. Reminds me of my childhood. Unfortunately where I live (USA, South central PA) you can't find it. Not even in Asian/Vietnamese stores. Went to New York China town and not even there. People don't seem to know what it is. I show the pictures and they are like what????

So if anyone who lives in the USA has a Bilimbi tree that has green fruits, I would like to buy some from you that will fill a medium size priority mailbox. Let me know and your price.
