ID Cherimoya tree
« on: September 17, 2020, 04:35:02 PM »
Can anyone look at these photos and let me know if this is a cherimoya tree.
I had one fruit years ago and it tasted good, rather large fruit (1 lb).

The tree grows very fast, I top it every year to 5ft, but it grows over 15 by the end of the year. It has large oval leafs.
Also, if its a cherimoya, can you guess what type it is.

Looks like cherimoya to me.
Don't know the type. Fruit photo may help with identification.

ok, thanks. Yes, I should hand pollinate it. If I get fruit, I will post it.

Definitely cherimoya or cherimoya-dominant atemoya. I’ll be damned if anybody could tell what variety

Ok, thanks for your comments. At least I know now that it is a cherimoya so I can graft most of my scions onto this tree.
