Tropical Fruit Discussion / yellowish falling leaves on my carambola
« on: April 23, 2015, 04:11:46 PM »
Hi guys,it's the very same carambola I talked about on here: http://tropicalfruitforum.com/index.php?topic=15312.msg195626#msg195626

re-potted and still in the greenhouse, lower temperature is about 11° during night, but I really don't understand what is happening...some leaves turn into yellow and then fall down, upper leaves are perfect instead

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Can i grow these fruits here?
« on: April 10, 2015, 02:37:21 AM »
Hello guys, inlive in south italy, here we have a subtropical climate, sometimes in winter we see some frozen in early morning, only 2 times we had under 0 temperature, but just a case, in the past rarely we went  under +1. Summer instead is very hot.
.. Anyway there's cold wind from the northern europe.
I want to grow outside in my farm black sapote, macadamia nuts, averrhoa carambola... I ve the opportunity to buy plants taller than 2meters (only macadamia is about 1meter)

What do you think?
