I'm looking to buy peanut butter fruit seeds or seedlings. Either Bunchosia glandulifera or Bunchosia argentea

I've also fresh seeds of bunchosia glandulifera.
They germinate easily and fruit in about 1 year

Why people eat this. To me useless. This is grown in hedges here. Like a weed.

Satha, the fruit is tasty and extremely healthy.
Don't get fooled by the fact that it's a humble tree.
This fruit is grossly undervalued and has a big potential in terms of health benefits.
The phytochemical analysis of bunchosia fruit extract showed the presence of several bio-active compounds with antimicrobial, antifungal, antibacterial, antiviral, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammation activities.

yes! and It's very tasty if you harvest it at complete ripeness when fruit becomes fully red with soft creamy flesh

Growing one now. Too immature for fruit yet, but I'll be happy to share seeds once it does.

Here in my warm climate it fruited in just one year after planting

so how long before this fruits ?
i have 3 plants
the largest i moved to a 5gal container a couple of months ago
since then, its not put out any new growth
and the leaves look kind of droopy.
how much sun and water do they like ??
will they fruit OK in part shade ?

I bought 2 plants last year, one was a cutting that is from last year and the other is a seedling
from last year. The cutting fruited real heavy earlier in the year and I got over 75 fruit. I planted it
under a large tree and it gets only a little direct sunlight per day. It has very dark green leaves.
The seedling I planted in full sun and the leaves are not as dark. It has had a few fruit on. Irma hit my
place pretty hard and the leaves were battered along with both plants left leaning. Currently the seedling is
flowering real heavy and also has a great new flush. It is not as dark green as the cutting that is
'mostly shaded but both trees are thriving and fruiting in one year.

i am running out of full-sun areas anyway... LOL.
ive noticed leaves of plants in the sun wont get as dark.
i give extra magnesium and iron to the ones in the shade
and the leaves turn dark-green.
They can absorb more low-level light and be healthier with dark leaves.
With my Feijoa , the bottom of the plant is in most-shade
and top is full-sun.
the bottom leaves are very dark, and the tops are much lighter.
i will plant the Peanutbutter in ground in spring
the large one should fruit in a year im guessing.
colors on the new camera seem a bit off.
but it looks healthy to me.

just planted mine, put it in a established cutting in full sun, and lucky enough had very brisk and cool weather for 2 weeks and lots of rain. It was ok with the slightly soggy conditions, but water never sat 'on' top of soil. But for sure water table must have saturated the roots.
In any case, finally new growth, nice light color leaves, and fruit!
I was apprehensive because of the post in this thread above which mentioned it as a useless weed. However upon tasting I was very pleased. I would even go as far as to say it is more of a peanut butter and jelly fruit, it was fruity to me, but definitely with the creamy nutty texture of 'skippy' creamy peanut butter.
I don't know if I'll need more than one bush, but it it is definitely just as snackable as mulberries.

I agree with you this fruit is largely undervalued!
The only flaw being the size of the seed thus the little thickness of the edible portion.
Would be nice to have some new selected variety with a better pulp to seed ratio.
But it's producinf plenty of fruits and they are really delicous :-)
