« on: August 06, 2018, 06:00:27 PM »
Hi guys,

I got longan tree from my in-law.  I did not like its shape so i cut it control its height.  In the meantime, I grafted lychee from my brother in Feb but failed.  I tried again couple weeks ago and so excited to see this.

Congratulations! Just be careful with it. These grafts can die back, especially in a heatwave. We have a member here that grafted Lychee onto Longan and got fruit from the grafted Lychee Branch. Good luck and please keep us updated on it’s progress.

I covered it with newspaper and just removed it because it got to tight.   You're right and thank you for reminding me.  i'll cover it because couple days will be in 90.

That's very awesome Simons.  Hope mine will survive and produce fruits.
