I just tried them the other day after I saw Oscar post that you could eat the nuts..they were good, tatsed very similar to almond..

What if we use them seeds to prepare icaco  (cocoplum) milk? ... have anyone tried? almond milk tastes good so it seems worth trying.

If anyone didnt get seeds from me last time I'll try to send out some more...They produce a couple times as season..there are some green ones on the bushes around here now..Luisport, they have a coconut flavor with a cottony texture..the large white/red ones are better tasting...There is a coastal variety (the red ones) and an inland variety (the purple ones)..the purple vary in size and quality but all the reds I've seen have been good..
