thanks to everyone who showed up at the sale!
it was great to meet some forum members, and put faces to usernames.
to be honest, I was worn out! I fell asleep at 3 am the night of the sale, and had to wake up at 4:30am...
I ate a small breakfast, and headed to the sale...I got in early, as planned, and was able to unload well before the doors opened to customers. This was the first year I did it with no hired help (thanks to Vernmented, and other club members who helped load, and unload...it took a load off my shoulders)
I brought about 10lbs of red jaboticaba, some Grimal fruits, (about 5 white jabo fruits) and a pound of pitangatuba fruit...I wish I had brought even more...but I'm not that generous.
People went crazy for the red jabos...it helped me sell a bunch of larger size trees...all of my smaller trees sold out...I should have brought more smaller trees.
sold lots of small pitanagtubas, and even some flowering size ones.
sold quite a few rainforest plums, one gal about 1ft tall
brought 4, but only sold one big ass miracle fruit tree... (btw, I have a bunch more here i really need to get rid of....might be able to deliver to certain locations in South and Central FL....they are over 6ft tall, over 20 yr old...$100 ea...buy more than 2 and I reduce price to $90....gotta get rid of them...they are too big...and all need 25gal pots...)
sold grafted Myrciaria vexator, should fruit this year..sold some big yellow jabos...one was like 6ft almost...sold bunch of the small Plinia spiritosantensis seedlings,..about 8-12 inch tall.
sold a few Plinia sp. (Escarlate) 6 inch tall one gal.
sold grafted Plinia trunciflora, about 4 ft tall,...this tree was beautiful!
sold some seedling rollinias from my Monstrinho tree,
sold a seedling of Kimber Red, about 7ft tall with first flowers, in 7 gal, (a man came and got it about 5 minutes after I reduced the price)
sold a seedling atemoya from australia (pinks mammoth), flowering in a 3 gal pot, about 4 x 4ft...
sold out of Garcinia intermedia seedlings, I think i had 3 of them about 3.5 ft tall, close to fruiting .
sold grafted illama "genova red", just healed about 10 inch tall, one gal pot, (thanks to the kind man who got it)
also sold small grafted A. salzmannii just healed, about 10 inch tall, branched very well, one gal pot,..(I didn't see who got it...I wanted to talk to person who bought this plant, and tell them how special it is...)
sold a few myrciaria guaquiea seedlings...quite small...and also had a lone M. strigipes seedling that sold....
and then almost sold out of Grimals...I had one close to fruiting, seedling, and one grafted, close to fruiting...and then a few smaller ones
that's all I can remember for now..thanks again to all who attended, and supported me.
