This is rare in Assam,India but most of the fruits do not have any seeds at all.
This is called Rupahi thekera in Assamese
This fruit is sour but very attractive colour.

Mr Chandramohan from Kerala  has  sent me the pictures of wild durian from  the same state.
According to him "The red one weighed 450 gms and the green one weighed 350 gms. The green one has extremly sharp spines, impossible to handle while the spines of the red on are not sharp!"

Decalepis hamiltonii is not a fruit but its roots are made to a drink which cools body in summer.
Dregea volubilis is also not a fruit but its young shoot and inflorescence are cooked in a curry.

Seeds can be eaten raw or after frying.Ripe seeds have the taste of  cashew nuts.
Roots can be boiled and eaten like potato.
Another reference:
It is grown as an ornamental plant. The foliage is used as fodder and the seeds are eaten; bark yields good fibres for ropes etc. It is medicinally important and also yields tanning material. The seeds are tonic and aphrodisiac; leaves are demulcent and mucilaginous.
