Hialeah Red avocado
« on: September 05, 2013, 08:05:17 PM »
Just got my hands on some Hialeah Red avocado trees in 3 gal size, nice 4-5ft trees $25 each
Fruit is truly red when ripe, they weigh between 1 and 2 lbs and are very good.

To my knowledge this were originally propagated by Lara's, we have a few in ground trees at Pine Island and they are loaded with nice big juicy fruit. I thought they tasted very good, it is a cool looking fruit when they ripen.
