For sale, Shangri-La mulberry scion wood. Diameter of scion wood will range from 1/4"-3/8", length 7-8". At least 2 nodes.

The Shangri-La is a good mulberry tree to have if you like to pick ripe fruits for a month. You can get one plate full of ripe fruits each day. Tree can be trained to be low (under 10 feet) which makes it easy for the kids to pick the fruits.

Unlike the Black Pakistan mulberry where the fruits all ripen immediately within a week or two, and if you don't pick ripe fruit they will all fall off every day. The Shangri-La ripe fruits seem to hang on the tree much longer than the Black Pakistan/White Pakistan so that you have some days to pick it .

I grafted several of these onto my mulberry tree along with the other ones Kaz sells.  They are all growing nicely.

I have a Pakistan mulberry , is it better to graft the Shangri-La onto it?

NewGen, you can do either one. Shangri-La is very easy to root the cuttings.
Also grafting it on your Pakistan is just as easy. I have the Black Pakistan, Shangri-La and White Pakistan.

The Shangri-La can be easily grafted to the Black Pakistan or other mulberry plants (also have seedling trees), grows fast.
The White Pakistan is very difficult to root cuttings, and grafting is not easy, need to have good scions and rootstock timing.
