Thanks for the advice so far. I have three varieties that are growing together in the photo, Physical Grafitti, Yellow, and a white variety I got from Excalibur several years ago. The yellow is not blooming tonight. Any advice on when to pollinate during the night? I would like to hand pollinate in the morning at first light but I have heard the stamen is not receptive in the morning. The flowers are usually still open at 9 am and have quite a few bees buzzing about, but they don't seem to help with the fruit set.

Physical Graffiti is not self pollinating despite being sold saying it is by nearly everyone, so make sure you pollinate it with one of the other varieties.

Happened to check my dragon fruit tonight and found this. Didn't realize the blooms would be quite this beautiful in person. Smell reminds me of magnolia flowers.

I bought a ~12 inch cutting of Physical Graffiti online just over 2 years ago. The first year I was uncertain how much sun I should give it, so I gave it too little and it didn't grow very much. Last year I just put it out in the garden until winter and it exploded with growth. Now I finally have my first flower.

This picture is a couple days old. The flower has now grown a few inches past the ring above it in the image. Just gotta hope it pollinates and maybe I'll get to taste my first ever dragon fruit.
