Is Guanabana (Soursop) Alternate Bearing?
« on: March 04, 2019, 10:45:48 PM »
I had several fruit in 2017.  None last year although it had many blossoms.  My tree defoliated this winter after the first cold front, and now I see many small fruit without even having the blossoms!  (They must have been there but tiny.)

Homestead Guanabana usually bears yearly, but as Capt has reported, gets thrown off by hurricanes.  Dropped fruit during Irma, and has taken till now for new fruit to form. Also, seems to need fertilization and hand pollination to produce well.
