Please dont order after Saturday, Sep 12th. I will be harvesting on Sunday and shipping on Monday morning. My yard took a beating in current 121 degree heat wave, will notify you if there are issues with your selection.

Behl wrote the comment on plastic bag. He said that "Campos (spain) is like but better than el bumpo".

Got my scions-

Beautifully packaged and thanks for the extras!

Congrats, and happy grafting from Tejas.

I have 5 Behl varieties on a seedling rootstock I did about 2 years ago.   Just pruned the 7' tree back to 4' and it's flowering and pushing foliage.  Is also holding fruit without my help.

Those flowers are so small any one have a clue as to how you're supposed to pollinate cherimoya?  Sorry, know it's been discussed before.

The flowers begin as female when they are about 1/3 open, then over the course of a day or two they fully open and are male. Collect pollen using a #2 paintbrush when you find the fully open male flowers and save it in a glass jar in the fridge or freezer. When you see female flowers, the barely open type, load up a small amount of pollen (too much pollen makes seedy fruit) and evenly apply it inside the female flower. I like to dock one of the three petals between thumb and index so I know it's been pollinated.

Check photos online for male vs female.

Thanks for the kind words.  Trust me, it's been a challenge.  I need to get some pix.  I also have a "Giant Atis" sugar apple that I grafted couple of years ago thanks to the graciousness of a Filipino grower in LA.  It is gorgeous.  Can't wait until it fruits.

If you want to chat sometime PM me with a phone number.  I know a few living in Houston growing all kinds of fruit - mango, avocaodos, annonas, etc.
