Good question, it isn't really a dwarf tree, but the leaf nodes are closer than the Black Pakistan or Shangri-La.
I grafted these scions on my Shangri-La adult tree in April 2019 and the grafted branches are 4-6 ft long. I will take a few photos and post it here tomorrow. The White Pakistan grows much slower and stays smaller than the Thai Dwarf.

It does look much more compact (leaves closer) than the Shangri-Lar and Black Pakistan. It seems to fruit more than once as mentioned by Kevin and other members if you trim the top branches back every few months. I had two fruit harvest on the branches since April. Also have the World's Best mulberry grafted on this same tree so I can compare the fruit with Thai Dwarf since some people feel it might be the same variety.

Thanks!

I have a Thai dwarf in a 15 gallon and it doesn't really put on much leg. It's staying really small, about 3'. I also have a pakistan grafted onto a Thai Dwarf in a 25 gallon... It hasn't stayed small at all. Grew almost 6' this year.

The grafts I've put onto my 15 gal Thai Dwarf have stayed small as well, even if vigorous types. I wager you can limit their size and vigorousness with keeping them in a small pot.

I am not a fan of the Thai Dwarf fruit that much. I dunno if I just haven't had a good example but they always seem kinda dry and tart. It DOES produce a lot though, and all year. Cut back a branch and just a few weeks later it's got fruit sets.

I was just curious how big they get in the ground.  Thinking about using mulberry trees as cover for chickens in a new orchard block.   The ideal tree would stay in the 10-15ft size.

Wasn't trying to put you on the spot Kaz, I thought maybe you had a mature one of these as a stand alone tree.

I've got a Frankenstein tree with all these types on it (from you, thanks!) and need to decide which ones to propagate more of for the new project area.

Brad, if you want cover for chickens, don't use the Black Pakistan, it gets to tall and big. The best one would be the White Pakistan since it is very slow growing and branches don't get big even after 5 yrs. Next best might be the Thai Dwarf but you will still need to top it once a year to keep it small since it grows fast. Shangri-La is not as bushy as Thai Dwarf but has long skinny branches (large leaves also) and grows about same as Thai Dwarf.

Ok sounds good but I have to tell you the white pakistan tree I got from you is growing super fast.  Its already getting big, I think it grew at least 6ft tall and tons of 4ft weeping brancges all over it.  Thats was just a few months ago.

Here's the photos of the Thai Dwarf. If you trim some of the long tips of the White Pakistan branches then the side branches will start.

Glad to hear the tree is doing well.

Brad, I think your White pakistan is growing well because I grafted it on my Black Pakistan tree which is a vigorous grower. It's the one in the photo that get over 20ft, I cut the tree back to 15ft each year. You must be feeding the tree well, I don't fertilize my trees so maybe that's why it grows slower.

Let me know if you need some Thai Dwarf cuttings.

I couldn't tell you that. You can look up the different varieties but I don't know which one is the most cold hardiest.
