Terms pugging and skeletonizing interchangeable or R they different techniques

To me the term skeletonizing means cutting back to the scaffolding branches where as plugging or stumping is to Cut one foot Above The graft. Rejuvenating is to skeleton back 2/3 leaving 1/3 of foliage. Then removing the last third The Following season. Am I anywhere in the ballpark on this?
