Hi,
Does anyone know what's wrong with my star fruit? Planted it in the ground 3 weeks ago. Has some nice new growth too.
Thanks,
Chris

If it has new growth, probably is okay. Most of the action is probably below the soil level. Give it a couple of weeks and hit it with light fertilization.

Carambola are primitive and bullet proof/ So do not go OCD on them. I have an Arkin (as in the actor Alan Arkin who is 85) and a Kari (sp?) I severely cut back my Kari for the HOA and it is coming back. Easily!

It just needs some time to adjust to being planted. You'll see better growth next season or by a year from now.
