Title: Sap orange tree

It has a sap on the bottom trunk & Should I be worried on this 30 - 40 years old orange tree?

Keep an eye on the tree.  Hope it isn't the start of foot rot, caused by Phytophthora ssp.  You don't mention your trees variety,.  Lemons, limes, sweet oranges and grapefruit are very susceptible to Foot rot. There is a lot of information on the Internet about the disease and the control.

The year 1992 we transferred to this house with the orange in it.... this is the 1st time i saw this to our orange tree...not sure what variety this orange tree is but it seems to be a seedling tho....


i have sprayed copper fungicide by southern ag...hopefully it works...
