It has become a source of amusement watching this post get bumped every few months. Always with the same response I had a long time ago....why isn't the list accessible??? Like tootsie pops, the world may never know...

Last i heard if you submitted a certain number of mango photos to the moderators then you would have the privilige of having access to it. Otherwise you had to pay to get in?

That was the plan, but it seems like many projects, like T-shirt project, and logo project, it never went anywhere?

Probably will be easier just to start a whole new list!

Start a new thread, and a Google doc...

Who knows, maybe the new one will be even more comprehensive.

And eventually you can lock it!

Notice how none of the moderators ever answer the questions? Come on Murahilin! We know you've got that list in your closet. Wasn't this supposed to be a kind of wiki list with everyone contributing and everyone having access? Why was it removed?

We removed it because people kept on deleting it. So I changed it from open to restricted access. I think I also moved the drive where it was located. I'll look for it tonight.

But like everything else... You get what you pay for...

OK, thanks for answering. Didn't affect me much personally. But i think a lot of other people really enjoyed having access to this list. So it would be great if you could reactivate it.
PS is there any way to have a password or some other way to block people from completely deleting it? How does Wikipedia keep people from vandalizing their site? Would you need to use a moderator to approve each change before it takes effect?

I've requested access via Google a couple times but it was never granted.

I've requested access via Google a couple times but it was never granted.

I'm not even sure where those requests are going because I don't think I've gotten them.

Wikipedia has a ton of moderators.

The list has been fixed. If you would like to edit the list, send me a PM with your email address and I will add you. This way if someone tries to delete the entire list I can see who did it.

Amazing list. Bumping it back up because many on the forum might not know it exists. Bookmarked it. Unfortunately many of the common, more recent Zill varieties and others aren't fleshed out as well as they could be. Of course this takes a lot of time and manpower- Murahilin and Squam thanks for your work on it.

While I'm a mango novice and have little to contribute, hopefully others who are veterans can add for everyones mutual benefit.
