Quote from: Marsbars on November 23, 2015, 06:14:47 PMAdam, how did the Garcinia gardneriana taste?much like G. intermedia, but less tart, more pulp, and a slightly different aftertaste...I really enjoy them...my tree is going buckwild now, I might get a good crop this winter if conditions are right...it seems like every flower sets a fruit, and now I see about 100 flowers comingmost people don't realize the skin is edible too.
Nice spead Adam which one is the G,gardneriana?
Would the garcinia be a candidate for planting out in the ground?
Thank you my dear friends: Amigbro, and Tomas,I forgot to mention, I'm going to graft a batch of these onto Garcinia intermedia next year.I'd like to have at least a half dozen of these fruiting in pots.It will be interesting to see how the grafted trees grow, when compared to the mother tree...and also I'm curious to see how long they take to fruit from grafting.

IIRC, Chris Rollins said that if garcinias are grafted with scions (budwood) from the top of the tree, it will grow vertically, but if taken from the sides of the tree, it will only grow laterally.
Nice fruits, and nice to see you posting once again.
