Hopefully they don't make it illegal to graft citrus like some states did.

It took over a month for the mandatory spraying to begin.  A psyllid could do a LOT of damage in a months time.

Here is an article:
http://ucanr.edu/blogs/blogcore/postdetail.cfm?postnum=22897

The address where the infected tree is not posted, but the 800m mandatory spray zone is shown at https://www.cdfa.ca.gov/plant/pdep/treatment/notices/2016/ACP-HLB-NOT-Cerritos-LosAngelesCounty-Dec2016.pdf

The infection site is near Norwalk Blvd between 195th St and South Street.  Its only about 2 miles from me.

I drove by recently and there are 2 giant orange trees still standing in the nearby vicinity.

The general Los Angeles quarantine zone is shown at:
http://pi.cdfa.ca.gov/pqm/manual/pdf/maps/3439HLBLosAngelesOrange.pdf

A website with good information for Californians:

Wow! thanks for the heads up.   I agree Millet, I can't believe they waited that long to act, this is an emergency situation!
