giant mossman black sapote seeds
« on: August 05, 2012, 03:42:56 PM »
Hi,

I have some extra giant mossman black sapote seeds. They are already pre-germinated. I only have a few.

WOW! Cool! Unfortunatelly pregerminated seeds are not good for transcontinental shipping... :/ One day I would like to get some budwood...

Good luck with your seeds ;)

If wrapped carefully so they don't get squeezed then it would be ok.

Felipe, what are the restrictions on shipping/recieving budwood there?
I have a young grafted Mossman tree that I could send budwood from in about 2 years if the restrictions arent prohibitive.

BMc, thanks a lot for the offer! I would patiently wait two years :) Legally you need a phyto for scions for Spain (and whole Europe). But nobody checks small parcels. In the last years my friends got in my behalf a lot of scions without phyto. Not a single problem with the customs ;)

Oscar, so far I have lost a lot of germinated seeds after arriving, but high success rates on seeds which germinated after arriving...

I have lots of customer that claim the exact opposite and specially request already sprouted seeds.

Hi Felipe,

If you want I can send you a few seeds anyway even though you have doubts. This is an exceptional black sapote variety. Sending seeds is a game a chance anyway because so many things can go wrong.
