The restaurant is just across from USC. I used to walked across the campus and had lunch at the original El pollo loco on Figueroa St - when they were not a franchise -- and they carbon the fresh chickens on the steel rods, on charcoal fire bed.
Can't find Chaya con huevo on the menu, but the tamale stuffed with Chaya sounds interesting, but I will skip the green drink for now to build up my toxic resistance first. Very interesting menu I'd like to try all.
