I just tried a mango var from bali that has strong overtones of prefumed apricot dark orange firm flesh , only weighing 6 to 12 oz round with peach like blush. Any one know the name?

Info is a little confusing...are you in Bali?  If not, where did you get the fruit and where was it grown?  Pictures?

Nieghbor says it is from bali but grown here in bokeelia.Like eating apricot marmalade ,no pics

I just got one of these mangoes from you. here (coconut cream left and tommy atkins on the right for scale):



Interestingly It looks like a mango from an old tree I found growing in punta gorda, fl very strong perfume, flavor fibrous. I picked this fruit may 15th. red blush mangos on left. I haven't tried your bali mango yet to compare yet but they look very similar.

No it is for sure a mango. It just has a very different taste then the mango's we are used too.

There are plenty of small fruited mangoes in Indonesia and other parts of SE Asia that are very small,fibrous and don't really make the grade except as cheapies in the markets.

I had a chance to taste this mango, and liked it. A bit on the small size. It may fit the profile of the Indonesian variety Gedong Gincu, as seen in this video:
