How does the fruit taste?  Similar to red jabo?

Different taste then the red with a thicker skin. The red is really sweet because of the aureana cross. You don't get that intense sweetness with the restinga. It's sweet but toned down.

Sweet but toned down.I suppose the sweetness is similar to wax apple
