I put this tree down about 1 year ago, and it seems to start doing better with some new flushes. I stripped down most of the fruit to help the tree, but I left a few just to try out, but they all dropped later on ;(. Anyways, I have no clue what kind of lychee this is, hopefully you guys can help me out. Thanks

That fruit is too underripe to tell and it's extremely difficult to tell based on the foliage. Wait until the fruit is fully ripe and post some more pictures.

Other than not being an Emperor, not sure how anybassessment could be made based on the picture of the tree or aborted fruit.
