Have you heard of Daiso?
« on: July 19, 2017, 06:48:38 PM »
If you're not familiar with Daiso; it's a Japanese chain of retail stores selling miscellaneous stuff. It's similar to a 99 cent store. We have one here in San Diego. I have bought various gardening supplies here before and today I found these 6 ft stakes for only $1.50 each.

Yup, been there. They also have lots of containers for food and other stuff, mostly house ware.

I use those stakes for propping up my young or lanky trees, I also trellis stuff with them. They do tend to bend easily, and don't really have a sharp enough edge to strike through harder soils.
