Hi Mike,
Sorry to hear about that :( How did they get access to them trees? The trees were definitely stolen by people that have been on the premises!

it was probably a nursery man or lawn care guy....who saw your stuff from the road...maybe he just thought they were hedge plants??  Or do you think they knew what they were getting?

I want to help solve this mystery...We can find your trees I bet.  Especially with all of the eyes and ears of this forum.

Whoever stole your stuff is going to get Trees-n-more alright...put some bael fruit in a sock, and serve it to them cold.

I'm going to pay extra attention to the news tonight....

"police have arrested a man in Florida they are calling 'a fruit vigilante' the man apparently tracked down theives and then beat them with bael, coconut, and durian fruits until they agreed to 'turn over a new leaf'"

let me know if you need bail
What's that got to do with Jose Andres $10 brussel sprouts?

I've also been very wary about who I let in to see my backyard plants, and also giving too many details to neighbors about rare plants. The word rare can give people some ideas.

Jamie I agree but TreesNMore is a fruit tree nursery I have to tell everyone what I have. That is what the two rottweilers are for to keep people out when the gate is closed.

Hi Mike, yes, totally agree. I guess I was just thinking it from a backyard grower's point of view!

I reckon the person that stole the trees was aware that the dogs were pened up...and striked whilst the iron was hot.

Rottweilers are the best at this job...Nobody in their perfect mind would set foot in your property, they know these badboys ain't playing around 8) Congrats on the puppies :)

Sorry for your loss.  I thought FL thieves were only after cars and flat screens.  This is the worst kind of theft: when the thief takes a living thing and is probably ignorant of what it even is .  [I only had a frying pan stolen in Belize; never a fruit tree.)

Sorry to hear about the thefts.  I have a yellow lab who barks at people.  Hopefully you have good neighbors, who will call the cops if they see something.  Unfortunately, during mango season, we sometimes hear of a few member's trees getting picked clean, even the green ones.  One nursery installed hunting cameras to take pictures and video, which are later given to law enforcement for prosecution.  Good luck!
