Just graft them onto any lychee tree you have if you can't find any seedling rootstock.
Grafting lychee is very difficult. Good luck.
I dont have any lychee trees, this was going to be my first go around! wondering if I should just get the scion wood and give it to someone who knows what they are doing with it! would hate to see it go to waste! So if any grafters who have rootstock want the scions please PM me I will have Dr. Zee send it to me at the end of June and meet up with the lucky person! but need to be local I'm in Coral Springs Fl.
Being biased I would say amber and berry with evidence that J33 and EVIAC sweet are in the same league.I have tried maybe 15 Australian named types, numerous malaysian and thais as well as a few vietnamese varieties before.I have also tasted many un-named varieties.I can only compare to the American types if they are compared to standard common ones like black gold,NSI,bangkok lemon, honey gold etc.Mike can't EVIAC or j-33 here in Florida or at least not yet EVIAC sweet is the one I would love to get my hands on!
