I have Col De Dame Noir rooting now, hopefully, and I have a Black Madiera newly sprouted cutting that looks healthy...

Smith still on my Radar and Col De Dame Blanc may be in route.

Nice. May I ask where you found them?

Nevermind, I saw you got them from ebay.

Obtaining a  Smith Cutting from a very generous Ourfigs forum member.....love that place.

The dog sniffers got my last Smith, received the letter yesterday....poor thing was incinerated.

Thanks to mystery man that tried to help me out though!

I'm needing to make some fig cuttings contacts myself lol, those ebay auctions are battles. I would prefer to just find someone to sell me cuttings, than get into a bidding war.

Is the heavy price tag for some fig cuttings worth the money? The Col de Dame blanc cuttings seem to go for lots of money.

I'll let you know... 3 small ones on my tree that will hopefully be ready by the end of this month! Just had a Violette de Bordeux.... holy shit such an incredible tasting fruit....not your typical fig flavored fruit...... tastes like a poppingly honey sweet berry flavored Jam that was very jammy like.....could have spread it on some toast easily!!!

I'll await your comments on the cul de dame blanc, thanks for the info on the vdb. That's on my wishlist, are you selling cuttings?

VdB is pretty common here these days. The other ones ClayMango mentioned cost more still.

I would like to buy some fig cuttings I can root for spring planting. Nothing fancy or ultra rare, just a good tasting variety I don`t have yet.
Would be interested in any variety I don`t own yet: Carica Conadria, Brown Turkey and LSU Purple.

You can get a bunch of fairly common varieties very inexpensively at http://www.figcuttings.com/. (http://www.figcuttings.com/.) GreenFin (a member of F4F) runs the site.

Actually GreenFin offers a wide variety of common and not so common (including MBVS, RdB, HC, etc.). And in January he will be adding some more for sale. I bought some cuttings from him that I should get this week and I will be taking a look at what he is offering in Jan too.

I also have quite a lot of cuttings now too. I bought a bunch recently that I am rooting and have spares (some common and some not so common). PM me and let me know what you are looking for and maybe we can make a trade.

Have you tried the Figs4Fun forum?  http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/ (http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/)
There are a couple of threads advertising various cuttings for sale, they seem inexpensive. I didn't notice the varieties that you are looking for, but if you ask someone may have some.

I purchased a beautiful "Smith" from Just Fruits and Exotics which I was immediately able to air layer in half!  This was 3-4 months ago and they were a little expensive but worth every penny (as far as quality plant/shipping).

Others I purchased from the same order: O'Rourke, Champagne, Hollier.
