Moth Larva
« on: September 06, 2019, 12:59:16 PM »
Today I found this beautiful Luna Moth on my Door. I found a Larva on one of my citrus leaves a few days prior. I could not find if they eat the leaves on plants or not. Does anyone know if they do. I hope not cause I see them every year and I think they are so beautiful.

Worry not about the Luna eating up your citrus. They are of short duration and not populous. Instead enjoy the shape and patterns on the wings of this creature.

I enjoy looking at them each year. I wonder why I have never seen the female lunar moth. I have only seen the male in the yard. My goodness, I did not know they were endangered.
