very nice mrradtech. I got my AP almost three years ago and it's holding 10 fruits just like last year. I'm trying to keep mine 10X10 because I have mangos and a sapodilla right next to it.

I'm also going to keep the tree about 10x10. I have a persimmon and  pummelo tree next to it.

I hate white-fleshed dragon fruit. Taste like unripen melon without any flavor. But I like magenta flesh dragon fruit, it's very sweet. The taste are world apart between the two flesh color fruit.

JF,

I bought it from Roger Meyer in the Winter of 2010, it's probably three years old. I bought a Geffner and African Pride.  I kill one by over watering. The tree have out grown the tag and the tag is missing. The fruit also look like an African Pride to me too.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I didn't know the Genova Red was mislabeled until I planted it in the ground and did research on the internet. It's just a regular green atemoya of unknown variety. I'm still looking to add any true ilama to my collection. I bought two sugar apple from Mimosa nursery, one label kampong mauve and one with just pine island nursery. The tree with one fruit on it is not label KM but just Pine island tag. The owner at Mimosa said they both KM from pine island. I starting to doubt it's a KM after doing research on the Internet. I'm just happy to have any sugar apple that have a fruit set. The tree with KM label tag have no fruit set on it yet, hoping it turn out to KM. My collection is just getting started, it will be a crowded yard soon.

Rob,

I bought the infamous Genova Red from Roger Meyer thinking it's a ilama. Didn't read the whole tag, saw Genova Red and assume it a ilama. But it's just an atemoya, he calling it Genova Red atemoya. The leafs doesn't look like ilama but just a regular atemoya.

Two sugar apple (kampong mauve), two cherimoya (vietnamese, big sister), sapodilla (alano), atemoya (genova red), persimmon, and star fruit ( sri kembangan). And I still have the itch to get more.

New to forum. Lost tag on atemoya tree, don't know which variety . It's either a Geffner or African Pride.
Any help is appreciated? :)
