Very sweet, and twice the size of a quarter, and bumper crop compared to last year. I love it.

Twice the size of a quarter?  That would be a very, very large longan. Much larger than the largest ones I have ever seen.  Nice looking tree. What cultivar is it?

Hi Harry,

Not sure what variety it is as I inherited it when I bought the home. Some longans were as big as small lychee. Size compared to last year is almost twice and fruits that held are quite dramatic. I can say that lack of Santa Ana winds helped the tree hold much more fruit. I did not thin it this year knowing that winds will knock off 75%. but they didnt.

Hello Behl

Wow! Can we get a close up shot on the fruit? Thanks.
Here's a shot of the biggest one off my tree this year.
