I had 3 Cambuca , One in full sun doing great , another mostly in shade is half the size , the 3 rd was also in shade , dug it up to plant in the new lot and died...
Cambuca was slow in the beginning and really speeded up when put in the ground in full sun with lots of water .
On the rivularis in full sun I put drip irrigation , doing very well .
Ed , yes the mattosii is slow and I am really disappointed this year , I had hundreds of flowers and just a few fruits . I cleared some trees around it to give it more sun and I think that was wrong
I remember now when I collected the fruit the bush was growing in almost full shade . Also the fruits are smaller than last year when it was in a lot more shade .
