Is there another white wash out there that can be used on fruit trees? The IV Organic is a little pricey.

Yes. Plain old lime and water. Put on with a brush it is a sunscald preventer. Home depot and tractor supply co carry slaked lime. Go to Home Depot paint department. Look through their"oops" paint. White latex will fill the bill. I get it for $2 per gallon.
