Does anyone have any seeds or scions of high quality soursop cultivars or know anyone sources for them? Thanks!

Look for the guy who uses Coconut as his handle here.

It should work the same way you plant baobab.  Usually, these grow wild and naturally in the forest.

That's about normal here. Maybe yours a little bit on a bigger side.

Here getting this fruit is very rare.  And even if it is available, most of the time, it is just about half of the one in the picture.

As you can see from the date on the newspaper, this fruit was bought almost 4 years ago?  This one was full of fiber.  Do you get fiberless variety in SL now?

This is a little smaller than an average size, It is growing on the coastal side of Kenya. They pollinate naturally no need of hand pollination.

Just wanted to put in a good word about Fajar. I Ordered 3 uncommon mango species, all three looked fresh and viable when they quickly arrived at the house. All three were Properly packaged and shipped. I didn’t have any problems with customs (US). He Threw in something extra but I have no idea what it is. Maybe one of you guys can ID it.
His email is: Fajarkusworo@gmail.com He is great about checking his email, just be aware of his time zone!
I have no idea how to upload photos LOL
Try him out! I ordered those mangos and got international air mail for only like 25USD

Thanks and I’ll update this thread once they germinate!

Which mango species does he have? Am looking for kasturi seeds

Thanks

I am visiting Kenya in early December and I was wondering if there are any interesting fruit nurseries, fruit farms or botanical gardens to visit in or around Nairobi. If any of you guys can give me suggestions, I would really appreciate.

Cheers,

T

What is the color inside ? If its white it could landolphia dulcis .
If not may be  Landolphia heudelotii.

You have one rare landolphia even rare in parts of Africa :D

I think I tried sweet tamarind from Thailand a couple of times & got zero germination. I think some others have reported success with tamarind so I think that their irradiation dosage might be erratic, even for the same species?

John

Try and soak  seeds in water for a few days first. Experimented  this here and got 90 % Germination.
Sent seeds from the same box to kenya nothing germinated.

My 2cents is I knew somebody who brought back seeds from Africa from a Baobab and grew it as a houseplant in San Francisco for 25 years. No I.D of which species.
The fruit and its powder tastes the same.
