At the  Jacksonville zoo and gardens  (Jacksonville Florida) they have these trees that have purple leafs the sign said they were called "tropic blaze flowering peach"
My question is do they make fruit ? Is it a good one ? Anyone growing it ?

It does produce a fruit but its insignificant.   Its small and while its not inedible,  its not customarily eaten by humans.  Its more prized for its flowers and foliage.
