I wouldn't mind a 3rd bloom on some of my trees. I normally get good fruit set/retention (with some spraying) on Dot. This year it is terrible. Also terrible on young Cac and quite poor on Dupuis Saigon, which is otherwise very healthy.
Edgar has had modest fruit set on 3/4 of the tree. The remaining quarter, which fruited very heavily last year, has died back a bit, and did not bloom.
After taking a year off Sweet Tart bloomed and set fruit like a champ. Is it, perhaps, the perfect mango? Good flavor and production, kind of precocious, and some disease resistance?
Young PPK set fruit nicely on the first bloom. I thinned the fruit, as I read somewhere that there should be more leaves than mangos..................
