Flying Dragon and node count

Is Flying Dragon a quick tree to flower like Lime or a slower one.

Have bought a tree that is 120cm high (and probably 3-4 years old?).

What to expect in time to mature and set flowers/fruits?

Really not sure of the maturity time for Flying Dragon.  Flying Dragon is of course a slow growing tree.   I have four two year old FD trees growing at this time that are 2-ft. tall that have not yet flowered.  My guess is at least 5+ years to begin fruiting.

Inground mine started fruiting at 3 years old. I have since cut all my FD trees down.

I have two FD, same age, about 4 years from seed, one 2.5 ft tall, the other 2 ft talk, and neither have bloomed. I thought one might this year, but hard freeze killed most of the bloom on my PT's, so maybe the FD buds got frozen too.

I see you are in Stockholm which means growth will probably be rather like here in England if kept outside year-round. Very slow.
I have been growing in-ground FD from seeds for well over 15 years and still have not produced a single mature fruit.
However, right now I have one plant that is currently covered with hundreds of flowers, so I am expected a first harvest this year!
That is provided we don't have a late hard frost, an invasion of climbing snails, or a hail storm! All these have destroyed flowers or immature fruits in the past three years.

Wow citrange! Your weather challenges sound like mine! We count our blessings if the trees survive freezes, high winds, droughts, fires, hail, deer, bears, voles, borers, ice storms, greenhouses collapsing under snow, etc...

I've had FD in containers for 4+ years and haven't had flowering or fruit. I haven't pushed them really hard though so not sure what's possible. I can get seed grown Key Lime to fruit in 2-3.

And my 1 year old fast flowering trifoliata on the other hand...

Are these a special strain of trifoliate? It looks like it's in a container so that's pretty fast.

Yes they are & the seedlings carry the traight. I forgot all about these until I saw the flowers.
