heavy producer, nice!

Yes, this variety seem to be a hit in SoCal with regards to production decease resistance and hopefully taste
We get to name it and submitted to  usda

I think the only person who has the right to name is the person who developed it.

Also found out that Tete Nene is actually dwarf hawaiian, can anyone else verify it? Type in "Truly Tropical Mango Varieties - Dwarf Hawaiian" on youtube.

Something is off here. Frank's 40-26 fruits (ovals) don't look like Alex's 40-26 (round) at all. This is not just a fruit shape variation, it's a completely different fruit form. Or did I miss something here?

There is a reason behind why this was initially done (and the name stuck from being used over time).  Im sure you know why...

It was straight from USDA, now that you mention it Thera it does look rounder....I think Behl has a closeup updated pix i'll check

updated pix from Behl it looks more like a 40-17 or K3

Had a 40-26 this morning from my tree:

Verdict:
This mango tastes like Pina Colada. Phenomenal.

Ok, teasing us again, Alex, but we forgive you.
How does it compare in size to Pina Colada?

It will probably be similarly sized, though these fruits are from a small tree so hopefully future specimens will be larger.

I have a couple left of you want to stop by and get one.

It may be the time for Alex to name 40-26 after his wife Rebecca.

Like Richard Campbell did with Cecilove.

Gary Zill has left it unnamed and not sure if Zill's HPP is even propagating this variety.
