Anyone growing Pedalai in Hawaii? more specifically the Big Island? and if so how long have your trees been in the ground... fruiting? I tried Pedalai when i was in Malaysia and it was soooooo good. i preferred it over Marang.. i need a tree if anyone has one available... oscar??

Don't have any right now. Have one tree in the ground, but has not fruited yet. They get really giant, as in 150 feet tall! So it's good to top them when about 10 feet tall and keep them pruned. Otherwise you will never reach the fruits.

Good Deal... thanks for the quick response Oscar. bummer no trees for sale. The Root cutting you sold me of the Marang is doing Good... bout 3' tall now.. gonna put it in the ground in May when the rains start again...
Now i need to find a Pedalai! so delicious

7 Heads on eBay has them from time to time. I bought one and its about 2 feet tall in a (I believe) 2 or 3 gallon pot. I think he's a member of TFF as well. Good luck, Chris

I have young plants available. They are very tasty. Almost better than Marang.
