I feel like a kid on Christmas. Can't wait to try some of these varieties for the first time. Even more excited to go back.

So far I've tasted dwarf hawaiian, coconut cream, super Julie, cogshall, Angie, Jacqueline, and Jean Ellen. Although they were all good in their own way Super Julie stole the show. A Carrie like flavor with strong peach and apricot overtones "supremely delicious!" I was pleasantly surprised. Coconut cream was top tier as well with the taste of the canned cream of coconut with a slight acidity and no taste of mango whatsoever. I didn't notice much of an effect from all the rain we've had.  Dwarf Hawaiian was excellent as well and had a lot of flavor depth which is quite difficult to describe. I'm not sold on Angie yet although I've heard good things. I have two more from this batch which I am going to let ripen a little further.  I have many varieties still ripening including a Cac which is one of my top 3. Ill update soon.

I think there’s a couple left on Ah Ping. Turned out the tree is quite prone to MBBS. Majority of the fruit rotted.

That's unfortunate I'm sorry to hear that. I'm going to make another trip down Tuesday. Hopefully you'll have some more Coconut Cream and Super Julies. They were excellent.

MangoCountry - now I know why there were only three varieties of mangoes left to buy when I showed up at Alex's place on Saturday afternoon! I am planning to make it down there again in a couple of weeks. I hope I get as varied a haul as you got.
