If anyone still wants these, I have some left!

thanks to everyone who purchased them!

It looks like the mother plants I have are fruiting this year...so with any luck I will be able to post a report on the fruit...maybe within 6-8 months?

Hello ASaffron  we are also very interested in trying the new pineapple variety that you posted on the forum.  Please advise when you have more info on pricing and shipping for quantities of one dozen plants.  Thanks

Professor,

thanks for your interest!

the pineapples would cost $3 each if you buy a dozen...and the shipping would cost $5...but I would really have to squeeze them into a small flat rate USPS box....they should be just fine though.

so grand total would be $41.

it's just that plants shipped from FL to LA must be free of nematodes (it doesn't matter what type of plant really, as long as it has roots that have touched soil, they must be certified free of nematodes before leaving FL, bound for CA, LA, TX and AZ)

Adam, how difficult is it to get plants certified nematode-free?

I don't know if it's the same, but I'm growing a white flesh Pineapple that looks a lot like your description, the fruit have a peach fragrance so they called it "Peach pine". But mine is said to have been created in Okinawa. There are thorns on the leaves because I think it's been developed from snack pines.
I got 5 of them growing in pot and also Giant snack pines and honey pine.

Yours are not the same as the ones referred to in this thread as White Jade.  The one's Adam has been distributing have no leaf margin spines whatsoever.

Adam,
are you thinking about hooking up the masses with another big batch of TC pineapple this Feb/March?
The White Jade is beautifull and growing good here. I fruited my first pineapple in a 5 G this summer so hopes are on high for some White Jade fruit soon. Big ups.

One of the 5 plants I received from Adam in the middle of February of 2014 is fruiting.  I have them in 3 gal pots. I will take a picture tomorrow.

Yes, Brandon, inquiring minds (and pineapple growers in general) want to to know what your pineapple growing culture consists of. Yours are well ahead of mine......actually, that is being a bit too kind to mine.
